of the Week
Al Hunt, the Wall Street Journal columnist, shared his "Outrage of the Week". on the "Capital Gang (CNN)" on 3/9/02. Apparently, the Harvard Business Review gave GE (Jack Welch) an opportunity to edit, or re-write a review. This is precisely the sort of event The NDT is ranting about. If you are to believe anything you read, how can it be done against this kind of background. My father, (and his father, as the editor and publishers of our home-town weekly: The Appleton Press), and many other journalists of the time had two sayings:

Editor, Chip "face off" in traditional Polish Easter feat. Featured Link: This time, The Onion! If you haven't see this one, you owe yourself. Today is the 6 month anniversary of the 9/11 tragedies. Take a moment to remember your and our lost loved ones. The CBS production last night, "9/11" earns a point for it's "ground level" treatment, and fortuitous occasion of the tape being made of Engine 7, Ladder 1. It was Sen John Kerry (D, MA) who observed, "everyone who rushed into those buildings and gave their life was a union member!" Tonight, Chip and I are going to the Garden to see the New York Rangers and Montreal Canadiens face off for that eighth playoff spot in the NHL Eastern Division. (continued) "what she did would have gotten her tossed out of Harvard as a freshman". But it now seems she might have gotten promoted at the Harvard Business Review.
