The reporters standard questions of "Who, what, where, when, and why?" categorize the pages out of deference to the newspaperman's lineage of the webmaster. Sometimes these categories make sense. Others may stretch the point. The logo design follows the diamond layout of the sign in front of the Appleton Press, in Appleton, MN. This newspaper was in the McGowan family from 1914 to 1964. The font and logo have been upgraded to a more contemporary style.
